Tha Story

Pyrelli has been a lover of music for as far back as he can remember. His childhood memories are filled with his Mother having a constant flow of classics from great musical legends such as Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Teena Marie, Betty Wright, Bob Marley and many more flowing through the house like oxygen.

Pyrelli made the decision to embark on his musical career back in his early teens, he loved watching Yo! MTV Raps and recorded just about every show that aired in the UK.

“I remember seeing Kris Kross, Da Youngsta’s, Illegal, Shyheim, Jay-Z & Mobb Deep to name but a few and thinking to myself I can do that so I did”.

What started out as a hobby through his school years became a serious career move back in 2000 when Pyrelli became a part of a collective called ONE which consisted of rappers & producers all extremely talented in their own right. After several releases they were nominated for the Best Unsigned Act at the MOBO Unsung Awards in 2002, a year later the crew disbanded and Pyrelli continued to hold down his day job run a studio with his business partner and concentrate on his solo career.

Having toured and supporting artists such as Trey Songz, Redman, MethodMan, Dizzie Rascal & Mos Def to name but a few, with numerous global TV appearances and having his videos shown on music television worldwide Pyrelli has grown to love the art of being an amazing lyricist and performer and more than appreciates both his audience and his ever growing fan base.

Throughout his career Pyrelli has built up an extensive catalogue of music by featuring on major remixes, a series of mixtapes, & two solo albums entitled ‘Tha Organ G’ & Vitamin A: A Twist Of Fate, released through his own independent label ‘Judgement Ent’.

In 2008, much to his surprise Pyrelli was entered into the Channel 4 Television series “Orange Unsigned Act” he became the first rapper in the programs history to make it to the finals. Alot of UK rappers had entered and never made it to the starting line, but Pyrelli made his fans proud. And although some people didn’t understand his vision, Pyrelli put it down to a great business move and it certainly proved to be just that. His fan base grew ten fold as he continued to feed the audience with music some of them had never envisioned listening to, let alone buying.

“I will never regret taking part in that programme, I met some super talented artists, gained some new friends and discovered fans I never knew I had. I played by the rules and remained true to myself, at the end of the day this is more than music, it’s business and people have to understand that this is My Life” so stay tuned.
